Description

As Hong Kong’s population ages, neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and stroke are increasingly prevalent, posing significant challenges to quality of life. Early identification of brain abnormalities and genetic predispositions can effectively mitigate cognitive decline, reduce stroke risk, and provide evidence-based insights for personalized health management. Quanren’s “Comprehensive Brain Health Check Program” integrates state-of-the-art MRI scanning, APOE gene testing, AD Check Cognitive Assessment™, and high-risk evaluations to deliver a holistic approach to safeguarding brain health.

Why Should You Check Your Brain Health?

Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and stroke have become rapidly increasing brain health concerns in Hong Kong in recent years, especially in an aging society. Research shows that early detection of Alzheimer’s risk and cerebrovascular abnormalities can help delay cognitive decline and reduce the risk of sudden stroke.

Trinity’s Comprehensive Brain Health MRI Screning combines four core assessments to give you a full picture of your brain condition and help prevent cognitive decline:

  •  Brain MRI: Evaluates brain and blood vessel health; early detection of atrophy, blockages, or lesions
  • APOE Gene Test: Detects gene variants linked to Alzheimer’s disease risk
  • AD Check™ Cognitive Test: Uses clinically validated and FDA-recognized technology to precisely detect blood biomarkers related to AD (Tau217 protein)
  • 3-High Risk Screening: Tests for diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, important risk factors for brain diseases

Who Should Take This Plan?

  • Individuals concerned about cognitive health or Alzheimer’s risk.
  • Those with a family history of dementia, stroke, or cardiovascular disease.
  • Office workers under long-term stress or irregular lifestyle
  • Middle-aged and older adults (45+) who want to understand brain aging status

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: What is the Comprehensive Brain Health MRI Screening

It is a health screening plan designed to prevent brain degeneration and stroke by combining brain MRI, APOE gene testing, and Alzheimer’s cognitive risk assessment, enabling early detection of brain abnormalities and potential dementia risks.

Question 2: Does brain MRI involve radiation?

No. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a radiation-free, non-invasive scanning technique that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to visualize brain structures and blood vessels. It is very safe and suitable for repeated use.

Question 3: What is APOE gene testing? How is it related to Alzheimer’s?

APOE is a gene associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Specifically, the APOE ε4 variant is linked to a higher risk of dementia. A single blood test can determine if you belong to a high-risk group, helping you take early lifestyle and prevention measures. It is suitable for all ages and only needs to be done once in a lifetime.

Question 4: What is AD Check™ Cognitive Test?

AD Check™ is a blood test that measures the concentration of p-Tau217 protein, a biomarker related to early Alzheimer’s disease pathology. This FDA-approved breakthrough medical technology can detect early signs of cognitive decline with high accuracy, making it an effective tool for dementia risk assessment.

Question 5: Who is recommended to take this Comprehensive Brain Health MRI Screening?

This program is recommended for:

  • Those with family history of Alzheimer’s or stroke
  • Adults aged 45 and above concerned about brain aging and memory decline
  • Individuals with chronic risk factors such as hypertension, high cholesterol, or diabetes
  • Those experiencing long-term stress, poor sleep, or unhealthy lifestyle habits

Question 6: How is this different from a general health checkup?

General checkups mainly focus on heart, lung, liver, and kidney functions, while Comprehensive Brain Health MRI Screening targets the nervous system, cognitive function, and genetic risk—ideal for those who want deeper insight into dementia and stroke risk.

Question 7: Are there any precautions before the checkup?

Some blood tests require fasting for at least 8 hours. Before MRI scanning, please remove metal objects such as earrings, watches, and magnetic patches. Detailed instructions will be provided after booking.
