Gastroenterology and Hepatology Health Care Plan
Good gastrointestinal and liver health is essential for overall well-being. With changes in lifestyle and d)ietary habits, more people are facing the risk of gastrointestinal and liver problems. These issues may include fatty liver, gastric ulcers, and precancerous changes in the intestines. Early detection and diagnosis can significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life.
Our gastrointestinal and liver health checkup plan is designed for those who are concerned about their health. Through a series of examination methods, we help you understand the health status of your gastrointestinal system and liver. These checks not only screen for potential diseases but also provide valuable health management advice, helping you take timely action to improve your quality of life.
Ultrasound of Upper Abdomen:
Ultrasound of Upper Abdomen is a common method used to examine the internal organs of the abdomen. Through ultrasound imaging, the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, and arteries can be examined. This ultrasound examination can detect diseases such as fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, gallstones, pancreatic tumors, splenic tumors, kidney stones, renal tumors, and renal cysts.
Helicobacter pylori Antibody Test (Blood Test):
It is a non-invasive examination method used to detect Helicobacter pylori infection. Helicobacter pylori is a common bacterium that typically resides in the gastric mucosa and is associated with gastric ulcers, gastritis, and other stomach-related diseases. A positive test result indicates past or current infection and the presence of antibodies.
COLOTECT Colorectal Cancer Self-Sampling Test Kit
This is a non-invasive high-sensitivity self-testing kit for colorectal cancer and its precancerous lesions. After collecting a stool sample at home, the DNA from the shed cells in the stool sample is extracted and tested using the “methylation-specific multiplex polymerase chain reaction” technique. The test assesses whether the participant’s stool contains methylated colorectal cancer marker genes, including SDC2, ADHFE1, and PPP2R5C, indicating the presence of pathological changes.
