Trinity Medical Centre offers professional physiotherapy services that integrate Western rehabilitation science with the essence of meridian acupuncture. Led by Registered Physiotherapist in Hong Kong, we provide 1-on-1 "Manual Therapy + Acupuncture Fascia Repair" to offer a diverse range of recovery solutions.
Unlike standardized equipment-based treatments, our approach is centered on the therapist’s hands-on touch throughout the entire session. By sensing real-time physical feedback and bodily responses, our therapists flexibly adjust the intensity and angle of treatment. Utilizing both acupuncture and manual therapy, we provide personalized, precision repair starting from the root cause.

This is the core of our “Clinically Designed Recovery” approach. While manual therapy adjusts the alignment of joints and fascia, acupuncture penetrates deeply to release long-term neurological pressure and muscle tension. This dual approach more rapidly addresses issues such as “tech neck” (cervical pain) or lumbar disc herniation.
You may experience a “De-qi” sensation (a dull ache or tingling) during manual or acupuncture therapy, which indicates that the treatment is triggering deep relaxation. Our physiotherapy emphasizes gentle, professional care. Usually, no downtime is required after treatment; we simply recommend drinking plenty of water and observing your body’s feedback. Please note that results vary by individual and require a detailed clinical assessment by a physical therapist.
Recurrent pain is often caused by “compensatory mechanisms.” For example, the root cause of back pain might actually be collapsed arches or postural shifts from long hours of studying. Our treatment goes beyond fixing the point of pain; we actively correct postural imbalances. We view treatment as an “active investment in health,” resolving pain from the source to help prevent conditions like scoliosis.
Pain is usually the final stage of postural imbalance. For scoliosis caused by slouching or heavy school bags, early “preventative postural assessments” can identify cervical or pelvic misalignment before they lead to permanent impacts on skeletal development.
Postural correction is not an overnight process. The initial “Pain Recovery Phase” typically requires several sessions to release tight fascia. This is followed by the “Postural Remodeling Phase,” where personalized exercise prescriptions help students regain their correct center of gravity during their golden growth period.
Rehabilitation should begin as soon as possible after surgery, starting with swelling management and restoring range of motion. We provide personalized programs based on your post-operative condition, ensuring that we protect the wound while preventing muscle atrophy and accelerating your return to sports.
All Trinity Medical Centres are located near major MTR stations and have wheelchair access, making it convenient and easy to reach. We also provide private rooms and a ladies' area to ensure comfort and privacy.
