PICO Pico Laser Treatment
The PICO® Pico Laser Treatment is used to remove pigmented skin problems such as melanoma, melasma, and freckles using picosecond laser technology. Its principle involves using high-energy pulses of picosecond laser to target different layers of the skin, penetrating the pigment particles on the skin’s surface and breaking them into smaller fragments. These fragments are then metabolized and eliminated from the body through the lymphatic system, effectively removing the pigmented spots. Compared to traditional laser spot removal techniques, the Pico laser has a higher laser energy density, allowing for more precise targeting of pigment particles while reducing damage to surrounding tissues and minimizing discomfort.
